Through plentious years, anything expelled from a human body has been analysed in attempts to expose the latent psychology of its creator. We live in an age where humans cannot create without those very creations being used as analogous representations of their mental state or ideologies.Limits are imposed on acceptable works; pressurising an artist to create only those that represent a perceived agreeable persona. Through these restrictions, creations are reduced to the shallow and banal strata of designer clothes and expensive haircuts; fashioned as positive façades for the benefit of judgemental voyeurs.
Should an artist wish to reach out beyond their constraining 'self'; beyond their own inhibitory opinions and limitations, they must become purposefully severed from their own created artefacts. It is for this very purpose that I have manufactured the persona of 'The Whoredom'.
The Whoredom allows me to create and express perspectives that are not my own. I can explore ideas from multiple depths and gain understanding from the riches of human existence.
The Whoredom persona is one that exists only in these works and not in the real physical world. Analysis of words and/or images on these pages will not lead to a profile of my psychology. This persona exists entirely as a series of signals and symbols, creating a naked framework to be completed by your own judgemental assumptions.
